We use only 100% organic ingredients, sourced directly from estate farms around the world, ensuring each spice and tea leaf is of the highest caliber. Unlike mass-produced chai, we brew our chai in ridiculously small batches, preserving the rich, complex flavor profile. We prioritize terroir, selecting ingredients like Guatemalan cardamom, Peruvian ginger, and Sri Lankan cloves for their unique flavor qualities. Each spice is chosen not only for its origin but for how it harmonizes in our blend, creating a bold, balanced, natural chai experience without artificial flavorings or extracts. To further guarantee the purity of our ingredients, we request a Certificate of Analysis with every lot of spice we purchase. This ensures that levels of heavy metals are within safe and acceptable ranges, considering the soil and environment in which they are grown. Cinnamon, in particular, is a concern due to potential contamination in certain growing regions. That's why we trust Red Ape Cinnamon—they rigorously test each batch, and have never had to reject a lot from the Estate farm .   • How do I brew the perfect cup of chai?
    Simply mix one part of our chai concentrate with one part of milk (or your favorite milk alternative). Heat and enjoy, or serve it over ice for a refreshing treat. Some like it stronger with less milk. Some like it with more milk. Though; 1to1 fits most perfectly!
  • Is all milk equal ?
    No, all milk is not equal, and the choice of milk can significantly impact the flavor and quality of your chai. For the best experience, we recommend using high-quality whole milk from a box carton rather than plastic bottles. Here's why: Packaging Matters: Milk in plastic containers can be exposed to light, which can alter its flavor over time. Light exposure can lead to off-flavors and a decrease in the milk’s freshness. Box cartons are designed to protect milk from light, helping to maintain its original taste and quality. Whole Milk for Richness: Whole milk provides a creamy, rich texture that complements the spices in our chai blend. The fat content in whole milk helps to balance the spices, enhancing the overall flavor and mouthfeel of your chai. Low-fat or skim milk can dilute the richness and alter the intended flavor profile. Freshness and Flavor: Higher-end, whole milk often undergoes stricter quality controls and fresher processing compared to lower-grade or store-brand alternatives.   • What milk alternatives pair best with your chai?
    Our chai is versatile and pairs beautifully with dairy, almond milk, oat milk, coconut milk, and other non-dairy alternatives. Feel free to experiment and find your favorite!
  • How should I store my chai concentrate?
    Once opened, please keep your chai concentrate refrigerated and consume within 21 days for optimal freshness. If unopened, it can be stored in a cool, dry place for 12 months.
  • Is your chai vegan or gluten-free?
    Yes, our chai is both vegan and gluten-free. We use no animal products or gluten in any of our ingredients.
  • What are the main spices in your chai?
    Masala can be a blend of various spices. However it should always have a main line up that is Cardamon Ginger and Black Pepper Our Original chai includes a blend of organic Assam black tea, cardamom, cinnamon, cloves, ginger, black pepper, nutmeg, and Panela for sweetness. Our spicy chai does not have nutmeg. But does have birdseye chilies. Our bright chai also does not have nutmeg. But does have star anise, and fresh orange zest.
  • Does your chai contain caffeine?
    Yes, Assam is a High caffeine tea. Our chai contains caffeine due to the Assam black tea used in our blend. It provides a natural, balanced energy boost without the jitters commonly associated with coffee.
  • How much does shipping cost?
    We use USPS auto calculation at check-out. This means that the price is offered to you from USPS. and is generated based on your address. However 90% of the time I see it get all the way to the East coast for about $7.00 or less.
  • Where do you ship?
    We currently ship within the U.S., including Alaska and Hawaii. We’re working on expanding our international shipping options soon!
  • Can I track my order?
    Yes, once your order ships, you'll receive a tracking number via email, so you can monitor its progress.
  • How quickly will my order be fulfilled? How quickly will my order be shipped?
    We strive to fulfill your orders (confirm, pack, and drop off at the carrier) within 2 days. However, as a small team, during particularly busy times, it may take up to one week to process your order. Please keep this in mind when placing orders for time-sensitive events like birthdays or holidays. Due to high demand and carrier processing times, delivery dates are not guaranteed, and occasional shipping delays may occur. Please note that it can take up to 72 hours for tracking information to begin updating. Updates may not appear at every distribution center while your package is in transit, but once it reaches its next destination, tracking will resume. We appreciate your patience and understanding!
  • My order never arrived or arrived damaged, what do I do?
    While we try to do everything in our power to ensure this doesn't happen, we're unfortunately unable to control what happens to your package once it leaves our warehouse, especially in regards to roughly handled packages or stolen porch packages.
